Portugal doodling

Two days ago I traveled back from Portugal. I traveled to Faro then had a scenic taxi ride to Old Town. There is something so beautiful about the cobbled streets and little stairways which seem to take you on a fascinating little adventures. My walk into the square at Old Town literally took me around 8 minutes from my apartment. I had two option both petite stairwells which had shops and restaurants either side and the odd residential home or apartment. It was quirky but I really liked the idea of this being someone’s lively hood. This was someone’s home every day. What a beautiful thing to wake up too. I took plenty of photos, some I have illustrated others I am going too! Most definitely. It has given me a boost of inspiration, going to another culture and country always has a wonderful effect on me. And a bit of sun and tan has never hurt. (well slightly I did burn on the first day) I have returned home to wonderful rain and cold which is a blessing. I missed this weather surprisingly.
