Harvard Referencing

Today we had a meeting with Anna from skills referencing. She talked to me and the group about Harvard referencing, and how to properly use it. It was very eye opening we looked at how to reference quotes from works, off the internet, and even how to even reference images! How exciting.
Our first task was to reference a quote from a range of art based books. I picked Pop Art, A Continuing History. I then picked a piece from the introduction section as I think it was very relevant and full of information. I then had to write in the reference this quote. I then had to write up the bibliography of the book which is a lot more challenging but since I did a few examples I now feel more confident. All the sheets I received from Anna have been a god send too! I looked at the difference in referencing, one is a direct quote the other is paraphrasing.
