Here believe it or is even more artist and illustrators that I have researched for my Paris project, where I am creating a book. I have made a number of posts towards this project.
Ronald was an english artist and cartoonist, responsible for his work to do with St Trinian’s. The original.
I love his style and technique, its so raw and creative. He mainly only users fine liner, this creates such a fluid line, something you don’t get when using a pencil. I absolutely love it. I like to think he inspires me as I like sketching straight only using different thickness fine liners. I also think he users brush pens on his illustrations. He creates a lot of funny illustrations but yet has the ability to create pieces that are serious and represent a subject or area of history.
Smith usually creates simple line drawings, and then puts his images and illustrations which are usually online simple doodles on photoshop where he usually adds a background colour or even changes his pen line colour.
I really like his style its quirky and I can relate to doing similar kind of work while sketching or creating doodles. He is actually quite clever, what he does it pretty basic but the end results of his illustrations are really nice. He users many of his illustrations for advertising and does many projects for companies. All his illustrations have humour and energy. I think thats why he is so popular.
