Review of the Collaborative Project

Tomorrow is the presentation for this joint project.
I emailed all the designers in my groups, however only two emailed me back, Faye Brown and Rebecca Coady. Two other’s had emailing trouble with images.
I have briefly spoke about everyones designers given jobs. I told the year two graphics each task they was to do. I give them a number of options to choose from. Here was the given jobs to each designer;
Lesley Bobrowloski- was given the task to create a small zine. She however did not do this, she updated her blog with four small paragraphs with 8 images from Whitby. She has wrote about Whitby however its not 500 words as required, and she refused to interview a local or even tourist.

Faye Brown- She said she was going to create a twitter account, to promote Whitby. I have recently looked at this and it was brief with few images. I am happy with the attempt but there was definitely not 500 words, only two posted images and she did not interview a local. @sightswhitby

Rebecca Coady- I have not seen any of her work yet, apparently its documented on her Facebook account. However I have been unable to view these posts. She did not interview a local.

Shaun Lloyd- Have not seen any of his work, not sure if he has done anything. He did not interview a local.

Ryan Ellis- By looking at Ryan’s blog he has done the most written work, over 500 words and uploaded over 20 images to his blog. I am happy with his detailed account. However he did not interview a local which is a shame!

Sorry Guys about the harsh reviews but, I gotta’ do it! From the information I have collected from each designer, I have given it to John to create a powerpoint. I created a double page spread as no designers did this. This has also been sent to John to put in the powerpoint presentation.

  1. Excellent review on your collaborative brief Alex, this shows how committed you were to the brief and how you continued to check on your team of designers. I shall be speaking to the G2’s on Monday morning. You have dealt with this professionally and I will be showing the designers of Team Bram your write up, as this could have gone towards their freelance unit.

    Once again you have proved yourself to be very organised and you continuosly tackle each brief with 110%, even if you are faced with set backs.
